Daniel Botten

Project Manager | Team Lead

Daniel joined the Creative Design Professionals team in 2021 as a Project Manager – Team Lead. He has spent most of his life in Southern California where he enjoyed hiking in the Sierra Mountains and attending Angels baseball games. He has just recently relocated to Nashville and loving it. He believes the architectural design process is like writing music. Just like vocals, instruments, and lyrics come together into one cohesive piece of music, the program, site, and massing must come together to create a beautiful piece of architecture.

In 2014, Daniel received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the NewSchool of Architecture & Design in San Diego California with a focus on professional practice. During his time at NSAD his team was awarded an honorable mention for the ACSA-AISC nation wide Student Steel Design Competition.

Spread across a 7-year period Daniel has worked at firms of various sizes and project types located throughout the country. During his career Daniel has gained experience in several typologies especially in Hospitality, Commercial, Education, and High-end Residential programs. His projects have been received Golden Nugget Awards and a KRCB “Beautification Award” from the city of Riverside. He enjoys the outdoors and feels that a buildings connection to the site physically, visually, and functionally is crucial for the success of a project. In addition, Daniel enjoys focusing not only on the big picture but the little details as well. He believes good detailing can make a good project great.

Building meaningful and successful relationships are very important him. A project can only be as successful as its team. Therefore, it is important to develop good relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors to create great architecture.
